Touched on Saturday in Ostrava, Teddy Tamgho passed IRM who revealed a fracture of the right ankle. The triple jumper from the Ile-de-France is forced to abandon the World championships of Daegu.

Adieu donc la course au titre mondial pour lequel il était le grand favori puisqu'il détient la meilleure performance mondiale de la saison (17,91m). Teddy Tamgho va désormais devoir prendre son mal en patience afin de bien se rétablir pour préparer au mieux les Jeux Olympiques de Londres 2012, son grand rêve. En attendant, avec ce forfait, l'équipe de France perd l'une de ses principales chances de médaille en Corée du Sud…
