Swift start from Proteas.

South Africa made a brisk start as they reached lunch at 104 for one on the opening day of the second Test against West Indies in St Kitts.
Captain Graeme Smith (45 not out) and opening partner Alviro Petersen (52) had little trouble dealing with the Windies attack as they moved the score to 99 before Petersen was brilliantly caught by Kemar Roach off the bowling of Shane Shillingford.
Hashim Amla then partnered Smith through to the interval, which came early after a rain shower had forced the players from the field, as the Proteas looked to build on their first Test success.
Smith had won the toss and had no hesitation in batting first on what looked like a lifeless wicket.
Ravi Rampaul and Roach got little from the pitch as they opened the Windies attack and Smith and Petersen were soon accumulating runs at a steady pace, bringing up the 50 partnership in just the 11th over.
Home skipper Chris Gayle turned to spinner Sulieman Benn as he looked for a breakthrough but his second over saw Petersen elegantly loft him for a huge six and the introduction on Shane Shillingford into the attack saw him treated with similar disdain by Smith.
The pair continued untroubled and Petersen brought up his 50 off 69 balls as he turned Benn down to fine-leg for two, but in the next over he perished as he top-edged a sweep off Shillingford, with Roach making up a lot of ground to take the catch.
That brought Amla to the crease and he faced seven balls without scoring before the weather brought about the early lunch break.
