The Big Three may be able to say a big thank you to his bench and including Glen 'Big Baby "Davis in a few days. The NBA Finals and the playoffs in general, still offer great stories. Thursday is Glen Davis, who has managed to pitch the show from Rajon Rondo, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett or Ray Allen. Precious but not brilliant since the start of the playoffs, the Celtics came out inside of his bench to be the X factor that fourth game and allow Boston to tie the Lakers.
Already useful during the first three periods to help Paul Pierce, Davis led the charge to reverse the trend by scoring nine of his 18 points in the fourth quarter. "I felt like a beast. As if we could not stop. It was only a matter of will and determination"Davis has summarized the symbol of replacements who have turned the tables Thursday. If the Big Three has made its building block (19 pts for Pierce, 16 pts, 6 rbds for Garnett and 12 pts, 5 rbds for Allen ), Doc Rivers has indeed found the right formula without much of its stars to allow his team to fly on the scoreboard.
Bynum limited:
With only Ray Allen on the floor alongside Nate Robinson, Tony Allen, Rasheed Wallace and Glen Davis of course, relief from Massachusetts has inflicted a 12-2 Californians to regain the advantage early in the fourth period and do hole (66-74, 8 minutes remaining). Ray Allen and Glen Davis were fired. And then, Nate Robinson (12 points in 17 minutes), Paul Pierce, back, and company were able to manage their small mattress in advance.
In the final, where the loser has always responded after the game, the Lakers now hope to get back on track to bounce back Sunday and put in a strong position before the last two games in LA. They hope that Andrew Bynum will especially sufficient time to rest. Always hit in the knee, the pivot California has played just 12 short minutes in the first half and did not have his usual impact (2 pts, 3 rbds) to help Kobe Bryant (33 points) and Pau Gasol (21 pts).
