Came defenders Jamie Carragher and Ledley King on Tuesday in a provisional list of 30 players chosen by coach Fabio Capello for the England football in preparation for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
The list also injured midfielder Gareth Barry, and Darren Bent to Sunderland, Scott Parker of West Ham, but Owen Hargreaves to Manchester United and Fulham striker Bobby Zamora missed the list.
Carragher has never or King play under new coach of Italy, but Capello was keen to secure the defensive options in light of uncertainties about the participation of Rio Ferdinand and John Terry, Wes Brown, excluding Jelln Lescott because of injuries.

Midfielders: Gareth Barry and Michael Carrick, Joe Cole and Steven Gerrard, Tom Huddlestone and Adam Johnson and Frank Lampard, Aaron Lennon and Jamess Milner and Scott Parker, Theo Walcott and Shaun Raitfilips.
Forwards: Darren Bent, Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe and Emile Heskey and Wayne Rooney.
