Clijsters reaches no more.

As the Australian Open, Kim Clijsters stopped the third round the side of Indian Wells.

Dominated by Alisa Kleybanova 6 / 4 1 / 6 7 / 6 (4) Kim Clijsters stopped at the gates of the knockout stages. Only Jelena Jankovic saves the honor of top ten global players.

Clijsters ends there:
After leaving retirement on the Bleeding Edge, and a Grand Slam title pocketed the U.S. Open, Kim Clijsters could see the glorious year 2010. But the euphoria of the return seems gradually to diminish the Belgian. Despite a title in Brisbane in January, Clijsters just now. As the Australian Open, she did not pass the third round of the tournament at Indian Wells, eliminated by Alisa Kleybanova in three sets: (6 / 4 1 / 6 7 / 6). It has however led 4 / 0 in a final tiebreak eventually won by Russia's 6 points to 4. In the next round, one that has just won his first title on the side of Kuala Lumpur (to what was already his seventh tournament of the season!), Will face Spain's Suarez Navarro, tombeuse Szavay of the previous round.

Jankovic to end suspense:

Defeat six games to two in the first set, Jelena Jankovic has reversed the trend to finally win against the Italian Sara Errani in 2 hours 48 minutes and three sets: (2 / 6 7 / 6 6 / 4). A match made débreak break and where it is the mind of the Serbian, carried 4 / 2 in the third inning, which made the difference. But decidedly nothing is given to the former World No. 1 who has not won a major title since the tournament in Cincinnati last August. Only positive, it now has much to gain on the courts at Indian Wells and Miami (next week), two competitions in which she had not passed the first round in 2009. To do this, it will eliminate Shahar Peer, tombeuse by Flavia Pennetta in the fourth round.

The desert:
The desert, it is with the best global players in Indian Wells. After the elimination night, Azarenka of Belarus, (6e WTA ranking) against the Spaniard Jose Martinez Sanchez (7 / 6 6 / 2), there remain only four of the ten world premieres in the table. At the dawn of the fourth round, only Caroline Wozniacki (4th), Elena Dementieva (7th), Agnieszka Radwanska (8th) and Jelena Jankovic (9th) are still present.
