Frenchman Gael Monfils, seeded Spaniard David Ferrer I and II, respectively, to the semi-finals of the Johannesburg South African International Tennis Tournament with prize money of $ 442,500.
In the quarter-finals on Friday, Monfils won Taiwan's Lee Yen Hsun VII, 6-1, 6-4, and Ferrer on Indian Somdev Devarman 6-1, 6-3.
Monfils and wait for a difficult task in the next round where they will face Spain's Feliciano Lopez, ranked third, defeated the fifth American Rajeev Ram 7-6 (7-2), 6-3, while Ferrer will meet with Frenchman Stephane Robert, who passed the eighth Jamaican Dustin Brown 7-6 (7 5), 6-3.
